IVR Clinical Concepts Inc. Receives U.S.-EU and the U.S.-Swiss Privacy Shield Framework Certification
IVR Clinical Concepts Inc., a global provider of IVRS and IWRS solutions and services for clinical applications, received Privacy Shield Framework Certification effective as of January 17, 2018 and publicly commits to compliance with the Frameworks’ requirements.
Joining the Privacy Shield is voluntary, however once a public commitment is made to agree to comply with the Framework’s requirements, the commitment becomes enforceable under U.S. law.
The EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks are designed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the European Commission (EC) and Swiss Administration (SA), respectively, to provide companies on both sides of the Atlantic with a mechanism to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States in support of transatlantic commerce.
Certified Organizations must comply with the Privacy Shield Principles which include Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability.
The purpose of IVRCC’s posted Privacy Policy, which is in compliance with the Frameworks’ requirements, is to outline our responsibilities and procedures for ensuring privacy, confidentiality and security of all personally identifiable data and sensitive information we collect, or is provided to us during electronic clinical assessment.
